Metadata

Statistikkmetadata er strukturert informasjon om statistikk. Dette omfatter informasjon som brukes for å produsere, formidle, forstå, finne eller (gjen)bruke statistikk.

Formålet med siden er å gjøre SSBs metadatasystemer og andre metadatakilder lettere tilgjengelig. Her kan du søke etter informasjon knyttet til variabler, klassifikasjoner, statistikker, begreper etc.

Klassifikasjoner og kodelister (Klass) erstatter Database for standard klassifikasjoner (Stabas).

BeskrivelseThe classification contains categories for classification of the areas used for buildings, communications, other built up areas, green areas, agriculture etc. and land cover. It has been established for use in statistics on several regional levels. New versions in 2023 and later are changed to better correspond with user needs and the classes found in the map data sources. In the new version in 2026, the classification of “marine water” has been revised and expanded to include human ocean uses (human activities) in marine areas.
