Statistikkmetadata er strukturert informasjon om statistikk. Dette omfatter informasjon som brukes for å produsere, formidle, forstå, finne eller (gjen)bruke statistikk.

Formålet med siden er å gjøre SSBs metadatasystemer og andre metadatakilder lettere tilgjengelig. Her kan du søke etter informasjon knyttet til variabler, klassifikasjoner, statistikker, begreper etc.

Klassifikasjoner og kodelister (Klass) erstatter Database for standard klassifikasjoner (Stabas).

BeskrivelseThe parish was established by royal decree on March 18, 1871, effective from May 1, 1871, with the division of the Gudbrandsdal parish into Søndre and Nordre Gudbrandsdal parishes. On May 1, 1871, the area of Gausdal municipality was transferred from Toten parish to Søndre Gudbrandsdal parish. By royal decree on September 16, 1871, the Vestre Nedenæs parish was split into two, effective from January 1, 1872: Arendal parish and Vestre Nedenes parish.

BeskrivelseBy royal decree on August 26, 1868, effective from January 1, 1869, Vestre and Østre Aker parishes were separated from the Christiania cathedral parish and added to the new Asker parish, which also included Asker, Lier, Røyken, and Hurum parishes from the Drammen parish. By royal resolution on April 25, 1868, it was decided that from July 1 that year, the Skiens parish in the Lower Telemark provostry, as well as the Gjerpens, Slemdals, Porsgrunds, Eidangers, and Brevigs parishes in the Bamble provostry, would be separated from these provostries to form their own provostry, named Skiens provostry.

BeskrivelseIn connection with the restoration of the Hamar diocese, the Hamar diocesan parish was also established by royal decree on February 27, 1864, effective from October 1, 1864. The parish was established on October 1, 1864, according to royal decree of February 27 the same year, and was to consist of Jevnaker and Lunner from Hadeland, Ringerike and Hallingdal parishes, and Land from Valdres parish. The Vest-Finnmarken parish was divided into two by royal decree on May 14, 1864: Alta and Hammerfest parishes. Additionally, Lebesby parish in East Finnmark was transferred to the newly established Hammerfest parish. The rest of the East Finnmark parish was named Varanger parish.

BeskrivelseOn January 1, 2017, the former Gjøvik municipality was split into three, and Gjøvik parish was transferred from Gjøvik parish in the Hamar diocese to Østre Toten parish in the Hamar diocese. In 2017, the entire Ringsaker municipality and Brumunddal parish from Østerdalen parish were moved from the Hamar diocese to Toten parish.
