Statistikkmetadata er strukturert informasjon om statistikk. Dette omfatter informasjon som brukes for å produsere, formidle, forstå, finne eller (gjen)bruke statistikk.

Formålet med siden er å gjøre SSBs metadatasystemer og andre metadatakilder lettere tilgjengelig. Her kan du søke etter informasjon knyttet til variabler, klassifikasjoner, statistikker, begreper etc.

Klassifikasjoner og kodelister (Klass) erstatter Database for standard klassifikasjoner (Stabas).

Coastal and marine management areas 2026
BeskrivelseThe classification of coastal and marine management areas is based on the geographical delimitation of marine and coastal areas, in accordance with national management frameworks. Water areas within the baseline are managed under the Norwegian Water Regulations. Marine areas extending from the baseline to the open sea are governed by comprehensive management plans for Norwegian marine areas. The comprehensive management plans cover all marine areas beyond the Norwegian mainland, as well as areas surrounding Jan Mayen and Svalbard under Norwegian jurisdiction. The areas are divided according to the major marine ecosystems.

Statistical discrepancy
DefinisjonIn the compilation of national accounts, a reconciliation of supply against uses is made at the level of detailed products. From this balancing, the item "changes in inventories and statistical discrepancy" emerges as a residual, of which it is not possible to say what is the size of statistical discrepancy, i.e. discrepancies in data basis. Tables on value added by activity in the quarterly accounts also include such an item "statistical discrepancy", which is the preliminary difference between total final uses less imports and gross domestic product. In constant prices, this item is zero. In current prices, due to minor inaccurate measurements in prices of the various products, this item will have a value different from zero.
