Statistikkmetadata er strukturert informasjon om statistikk. Dette omfatter informasjon som brukes for å produsere, formidle, forstå, finne eller (gjen)bruke statistikk.

Formålet med siden er å gjøre SSBs metadatasystemer og andre metadatakilder lettere tilgjengelig. Her kan du søke etter informasjon knyttet til variabler, klassifikasjoner, statistikker, begreper etc.

Klassifikasjoner og kodelister (Klass) erstatter Database for standard klassifikasjoner (Stabas).

Amount of waste
DefinisjonThe term waste means discarded objects of personal property or substances. Surplus objects and substances from service industries, manufacturing industries and treatment plants etc. are also considered to be waste. Waste water and exhaust gases are not considered to be waste. Household waste is defined as waste from private households, including large objects such as furniture, etc. Industrial waste is defined as waste from public and private enterprises and institutions. Hazardous waste is defined as waste that cannot appropriately be treated together with other household waste or industrial waste because of its size, and hazardous waste, i.e. waste that may cause serious pollution or involve a risk of injury to people or animals

Classification of Individual Consumption According to Purpose (ECOICOP)
BeskrivelseCOICOP is a reference classification published by the United Nations Statistics Division which is used in National accounts, Household Budget surveys (HBS), Price Statistics (HICP) and Purchasing Power Parities (PPP). Parts of this classification are also used in Food safety statistics or environment statistics. Eurostat started in 2010 a work of harmonisation and revision of the Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose (COICOP) at 5-digit level. As a result, the ESS now has a single harmonised COICOP classification at five-digit level. The objectives of COICOP are to lay down a framework of homogeneous categories of goods and services, which are considered as a function or purpose of expenditure by households with the object of classifying transactions in relation to individual consumption, social transfers and households' real consumption.
