In the period of March 9th – March 15th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 94.98 per kilo, up 7.9 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

In this report, we provide an overview of the development of R&D and growth in enterprises that have been granted funding from the Research Council of Norway (RCN) during the period 2006 to 2024. Using regression analysis, we estimate the effects of financial support from the RCN on R&D intensity (i.e., research and development total expenditures per employee), number of employees, turnover and productivity.

The war in the Middle East is resulting in an escalation of costs globally and in higher import prices here in Norway. This, in conjunction with the high wage growth of recent years, means that it will take a while for inflation to fall to the inflation target of 2 per cent.
