Record number of guest nights at Norwegian commercial accommodation establishments
In January, there were 2.1 million guest nights at Norwegian commercial accommodation establishments, representing an increase of 4 per cent compared to same month last year. Foreign guests contributed the most to this growth.

In the period of February 23rd – March 1st the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 81.34 per kilo, down by 4.2 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.
Feed-in Tariffs, Intermittency, and Inefficient Investment
Feed-in tariffs (FiTs) have been instrumental in expanding renewable electricity generation but can distort investment by insulating producers from market price volatility. This paper develops a twostage model of electricity markets with stochastic demand and supply shocks, showing that a higher share of intermittent renewable generation increases electricity price volatility and lowers the market value of intermittent output.
