Decrease within engineering activities

The establishments within professional, scientific and technical activities experienced a decrease in seasonally-adjusted turnover by 3.2 per cent from the 2nd quarter of 2014 to the 3rd quarter of 2014. Compared to the same period in 2013, unadjusted turnover decreased by 0.9 per cent.

Establishments within architectural and engineering activities had the largest decrease in seasonal adjusted turnover, by 6.9 per cent from the 2nd quarter of 2014 to the 3rd quarter of 2014.

Administrative and support service activities up 0.7 per cent

Within administrative and support service activities, turnover increased by 0.7 per cent from the 2nd to 3rd quarter, according to seasonally-adjusted figures. Car rental had the largest growth, by 3.8 per cent. Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2013, unadjusted turnover within administrative and support service activities increased by 1.5 per cent.

Stable turnover for real estate activities

Seasonally-adjusted turnover increased by 0.1 per cent from the 2nd quarter of 2014 to the 3rd quarter of 2014.
