Comments Rented agricultural land comprises both lease of a completed holding and lease of additional parcels to an owned holding. Agricultural land owned by other than the holder but operated free by the holder is considered as rented. Agricultural land is considered as owned if the spouse of the holder is owning the land. Furthermore, agricultural land is considered as owned if a partner in joint operation in agriculture (group holding) owns land which is operated by the group holding. If the holder of an agricultural holding has entered into several rental contracts on the same property, this is counted as one rental agreement. Furthermore, if the owner of an agricultural property rents out land to several holdings, this is counted as one rent agreement for each of the holdings.
