Definition Long term bonds is defined as tradeable standardized debentures with original maturity of more than one year. It includes government bonds, municipal bonds and other bonds issued to bearer, with notification requirement to the Central Bank of Norway. The instrument also includes bonds issued in Norway in foreign currency, bonds issued in Norway by foreigners and bonds issued abroad by Norwegians or foreigners.
