Comments When calculating hours at work per year, all types of work are counted, including part-time jobs. For employees, the basis is salary per year, duration of employment and contractual man-hours per week. For the self-employed, trade income and information on working hours from the Labour Force Survey are used. Aggregated working time is calculated as the sum of time spent on all types of employment. Certain adjustments are made however with regard to how many contracts of employment a person can have at the same time.
