Sales of motor vehicles up

Trade and repair of motor vehicles had an increase in turnover of 1.0 per cent from the 2nd quarter to the 3rd quarter of 2015, according to preliminary seasonally-adjusted figures. The turnover in the 3rd quarter of 2015 was 11.1 per cent higher than the year before.

The seasonally-adjusted sales index of wholesale industries had a decrease of 0.4 per cent from the 2nd quarter to the 3rd quarter of 2015, and the turnover was 3.5 per cent higher than the same period a year ago.
