Taxis with turnover of 2.3 billion

Turnover in the taxi industry was NOK 2, 3 billion in 2nd quarter 2014. This is 3, 1 per cent more than in the corresponding quarter the previous year.

The taxis carried out 8, 5 billion trips in the 2nd quarter 2014, which gave an average turnover per trip of NOK 277.

The taxis’ total mileage made up 150 million kilometers. Of this 80 million were kilometers driven with passenger. An average trip with passenger in the 2nd quarter this year was 9, 5 kilometer.
