Weaker operating results

The operating income for listed companies was NOK 347 billion in the third quarter of 2012. This was a decline of about 8 per cent from the same quarter last year and over 11 per cent from the previous quarter.

Operating profit margin and operating margin. 3rd quarter 2009-3rd quarter 2012. Per cent.

The operating results went down by 29 per cent compared to the second quarter of 2012, and by almost 7 per cent compared to the third quarter of 2011. Income before taxes, however, showed an increase of over 6 per cent compared to the same quarter last year.
