Rent income up 6 per cent in Oslo and Bærum

The rental income index for office space in Oslo and Bærum rose by 6 per cent from January 2000 to January 2001.

Since January 1997 the average annual rental income per m2 of office space has risen by 21 per cent in Oslo and Bærum. In Kristiansand, Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim and Tromsø the average rental income rose by 15,2 per cent during the same period. The rental income index for these towns rose by 5 per cent from January 2000 to January 2001.

The share of vacant office space in Oslo and Bærum remains stabile at around 5 per cent. In Kristiansand, Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim and Tromsø the share of vacant office space was 2.3 per cent in January 2001.
