Norwegians aged 16-79 took 2.8 million trips abroad with at least one overnight stay during the 3rd quarter of 2011; an increase of 6.1 per cent compared to the same quarter in 2010. The number of overnight stays on outbound trips reached 22.3 million, which is an increase of 13.4 per cent.
