Definition	Economic region is a regional classification for the level between county and municipality. The main criteria used for defining the regions are labour market and trade. The main purpose of the classification is to constitute an appropriate level for publishing of regional statistics, but it shall also correspond to the NUTS 4-level in EU's regional classification.
