Comments Only persons defined as children in the population statistics are classified, that is persons aged 0-17 years who are registered as living with at least one parent. Siblings who do not belong to the same family as the child, for instance because they are married or have their own children, are included as long as the they live in the same household. For some children the father's (or sometimes the mother's) national identity number is "unknown". If several children in the same household have "unknown" identity number for one parent, they are classified as biological siblings if the other parent's identity number is identical.
