Definition Insurance liabilities have traditional been defined as the life insurance companies' reserves for coverage of insurance liabilities for policies and other accumulated reserves that may be attributed the insured. In addition, there is the total capital in municipal and private pension funds and FTP and AFP. The premium and claim reserves in non-life companies shall also be classified as insurance liabilities.
