Student households and children below the age of 18 years who are living alone, are excluded. The deciles group the households in Norway into 10 equally large groups by rising income. Figures for 2020 were corrected on September 2, 2022. Salary compensation for those who are temporarily laid off ('lønnskompensasjon') was included twice in the calculation of total income, and thus figures for total income were about 7 billion NOK too high.
