Statistics Norway has adopted a new method that provides better information on settled percentage of full-time equivalent (FTE) from 2015. Read more about the new method here; https://www.ssb.no/arbeid-og-lonn/artikler-og-publikasjoner/ny-metode-gir-bedre-informasjon-om-arbeidstid.

Statistics Norway has revised its KOSTRA classification of municipalities from 2020. As before, the dimensions along which municipalities are classified are population size, economic workload, and economic capacity. Nevertheless, an update has been carried out as a result of the municipality reform, effective since 2020. The revision updates the composition and numbering of KOSTRA groups. The revision is discussed (Norwegian) in https://www.ssb.no/offentlig-sektor/artikler-og-publikasjoner/gruppering-av-kommuner-etter-folkemengde-og-okonomiske-rammebetingelser-2020.

Figures for 2022 on users of care services (Municipal Patient and User Register, KPR) were updated on 29 June 2023. This affects figures for the variable Physiotherapy hours per week per nursing home resident in this table.
See list over changes in regional classifications (in Norwegian).

Tables that use the new regional division also for the years before 2024.
