In the spring of 2002, Statistics Norway conducted a survey on families' child-care preferences, labour force participation, and the use of cash-for-care. The report gives a description of the behaviour, choices, and attitudes of families with children after the cash-for-care reform. In addition, the report offers a broad overview of the use and preferences regarding different child-care options, particularly kindergarten.
