In the last election, voter turnout among immigrants was 56 percent and 60 percent among Norwegian-born to immigrant parents. Compared to the 2021 election, there was an increase in voter turnout of 6 percentage points among immigrants and 8 percentage points among Norwegian-born to immigrant parents. There was a general increase in voter turnout regardless of immigrant background in 2025 compared to 2021. In recent elections, voter turnout has been between 50 and 56 percent among immigrants and 52 to 60 percent among Norwegian-born with immigrant parents. The turnout among Norwegians without an immigrant background has been around 80 percent during the same period, in 2025 it was 83 percent.
