Guest nights at hotels decreased in most counties in November 2025 compared to November 2024. The largest percentage declines were observed in Vestfold, Telemark, and Innlandet, while the biggest increases occurred in Svalbard, Akershus, and Nordland.

Decrease at camping sites, holiday dwellings and youth hostels

There were 172 000 guest nights at youth hostels and holiday dwellings in November 2025, a 3.9 percent decrease compared to the same month in 2024. Norwegian guest nights decreased by 1.5 percent, while foreign guest nights decreased by 7 percent.

There were 119 000 guest nights at camping sites, a 4.6 percent decline.
