Increase in guest nights from Asia, but Europe still leads
There were about 474 thousand foreign guest nights at hotels in April 2025. A little over 70 percent of these were from European countries. Great Britain had the most guest nights from Europe, followed by Sweden and Germany.
Hotels also saw a large increase in guest nights from Asia. Of these, the increase was largest for China and Thailand, by 6800 and 4100 guest nights respectively.

There were 322 thousand guest nights at camping sites in April this year, a 52 percent increase from April last year.
