Loss of ICT equipment in the central government
In 2015, nearly half of the central government reported that they had lost ICT equipment. Two out of five had not encrypted the equipment.

In 2015, 44 per cent of the enterprises reported that they had lost ICT equipment during the last year. Forty per cent had not encrypted the equipment, and the share losing equipment among these was 34 per cent. Six per cent did not know if the equipment was encrypted, or did not consider encryption to be relevant.
More enterprises with universal design strategy
In 2015, 65 per cent of public enterprises had implemented an official ICT strategy within the last four years, compared to 56 per cent in 2014. Universal design for ICT was part of the strategy for 52 per cent of the enterprises in 2015; a growth from 48 per cent the year before.
Improved infrastructure
ICT projects carried out over the last two years have improved the ICT infrastructure to a large degree for 66 per cent of the enterprises. Half of the central government reports improvements in their work routines. Twenty-five per cent of the enterprises report that they expect reduced numbers of staff after introducing new ICT systems. The share was 19 per cent in 2014.
Social media helps recruitment
In 2015, 87 per cent of the enterprises reported that they use social media, with 62 per cent using it to recruit new employees. Eighty-seven per cent used it to promote the enterprise’s reputation. Twenty-seven per cent used the media to involve their users in developing the enterprise’s services.
Many use cloud computing
Fifty-three per cent of the enterprises used cloud computing in 2015. This is a significant growth from 2012, when the share was 26 per cent.
