Pupils in upper secondary education, five years after having started their basic course. The National education database (NUDB) in Statistics Norway is used as the source for statistics about completion rates of pupils in upper secondary education. This database is updated regularly and two tables giving the same information may have minor differences, due to data extraction at two different points in time.
Completed education: A pupil is considered to have completed their education if he/she has passed all the subjects within all the course levels and eligible for a high school diploma or a vocational certificate.
Completed vocational examinations have in some cases not been registered in the National Education Database. This relates to certain courses of training within the education-programmes electricity and electronics and technical and industrial production.
These mistakes, that affected the years 2009-2014, 2010-2015, 2011-2016 og 2012-2017, are corrected.
