CPI up 5.3 per cent last 12 months

From December 2020 to December 2021 the CPI increased by 5.3 per cent, while the CPI-ATE rose by 1.8 per cent. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 0.7 per cent from November 2021 to December 2021, while the CPI-ATE rose 0.4 per cent in the same period.

Electricity support will affect the CPI

The parliament has approved a temporary scheme that will support households in Norway with their electricity bills this winter. The December consumer price index, disseminated 10 January 2022, will be affected by this scheme.

CPI up 5.1 per cent last 12 months

From November 2020 to November 2021 the CPI increased by 5.1 per cent, while the CPI-ATE rose by 1.3 per cent. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 0.8 per cent from October 2021 to November 2021, while the CPI-ATE rose 0.1 per cent in the same period.

High electricity prices affect the CPI in August

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) did not change from July to August 2021. From August 2020 to August 2021 the CPI increased by 3.4 per cent, while the CPI-ATE rose by 1.0 per cent.

CPI up 2,7 per cent last 12 months

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased by 0.1 per cent from April to May 2021, while the CPI-ATE fell by 0.4 per cent in the same period. From May 2020 to May 2021 the CPI increased by 2.7 per cent, while the CPI-ATE rose by 1.5 per cent.
