2023-2024
There is a break in the time series between 2023 and 2024 due to a minor change in the regional classification. The municipality 1580 Haram is a new municipality from 2024 on, separated out of 1507 Ålesund municipality (1508 Ålesund from 2024 on).
2019-2020
There is a break in the time series between 2019 and 2020 due to comprehensive changes in the regional classification. See table 12503 and 12364 for figures for municipalities that only existed in the old regional classification.
There is also a break in the timeseries for the KOSTRA-group-municipalities between 2019 and 2020, due to altered grouping concerning the three different dimensions population, restricted costs and unrestricted disposable income per capita.
2018-2019
There is a break in the time series between 2018 and 2019 due to changes in the definition of the category 'Mills and factories'.
Time of publication
Figures for property tax income and figures for average annual property tax for houses are published with values concerning the year before the publishing-year.
Figures for property tax on a detached house measuring 120 square meters are published for the same year as the publishing-year up to 2022. Fore 2023 and 2024 these figures are published with values concerning the year before the publishing-year.
The other figures concerning property tax are published with values concerning the same year as the publishing-year.
The figures for the last published year are preliminary between the publications in March and in June.
Various information
The variable "Property tax on a detached house measuring 120 square meters (NOK)" might tell something about the property tax level for owners of detached houses in the municipality over time. This variable is not so suitable used for the purpose to compare property tax level between municipalities. The variable will be canceled in the statistic tables from the year 2025 on and reimbursed with the variable "Average annual property tax for houses in the municipality (NOK)". Variabelen "Eiendomsskatten for en enebolig på 120 kvm (kr) kan si noe om utviklingen i eiendomsskattetrykket for boligeiere over tid i en kommune. Dette målet er mer usikkert ved sammenligning av skattetrykk mellom kommuner, da det kan være lagt ulike kriterier til grunn, utover at det er en bolig på 120 kvadratmeter. Dette målet utgår fra statistikken fra og med 2025 og erstattes av variabelen "Gjennomsnittlig årlig eiendomsskatt for boliger i kommunen (kr)" som beregnes som sum innbetalt eiendomsskatt for boliger i kommunen i et år, delt på alle boliger i kommunen. The property tax rates for the municipality 1813 Brønnøy for the year 2011 are unfortunately not correct in the table 14674 and neither in the closed tables 12503 and 06811. Correct figures should be that the general property tax rate was 7 per 1,000 and the differentiated tax rate for homes and vacational property was 2 per 1,000 in 2011. The tax rates have unfortunately switched place in the tables.
