Herman Kruse

Brief summary

My research is mainly focused on social security systems, particularly pensions and retirement decisions. I have a PhD in economics from the University of Oslo, where I studied the joint retirement decisions of spouses in the Norwegian context.

I am also a part of the MOSART-group. We utilize the comprehensive microsimulation model of the Norwegian social security systems, labor market and education to evaluate e.g. the long-term fiscal effects of changes to rules and calculate effects of changing assumptions about adaptations.
