PxWebApi v2 supports GET requests, allowing the entire query to be defined in a URL. The API offers powerful querying capabilities and provides rich metadata and data from all of our 7,500 Statbank tables.
PxWebApi v2 was launched in autumn 2025, and version 1 of PxWebApi will continue to run in parallel for a period. The old version only supports POST requests.
The limited API with ready-made datasets was discontinued on 31 December 2025, as PxWebApi v2 supports GET requests.
