Stable high growth for employment activities

The turnover within employment activities increased by 15.3 per cent from the 2nd quarter of 2012 to the 2nd quarter of 2013. Since the 1st quarter of 2012, growth has been between 13.4 and 19.5 per cent.

Establishments within security and investigation activities had approximately the same growth as in the previous period, with 9.1 per cent. Within travel agencies and tour operators, the growth in turnover was 3.9 per cent from the 2nd quarter of 2012 to the 2nd quarter of 2013. This is the lowest growth since the 4th quarter of 2011.

In total, establishments within administrative and support service activities had an increase in turnover from the 2nd quarter of 2012 to the 2nd quarter of 2013 by 6.8 per cent. In comparison, the growth in the previous period was 7.5 per cent.

Professional, scientific and technical activities up 7.1 per cent

Establishments within administrative and support service activities experienced an increase in turnover by 7.1 per cent per cent from the 2nd quarter of 2012 to the 2nd quarter of 2013; approximately the same as in the previous period. The highest growth rates were found within management consultancy, by 9.7 per cent, and architectural and technical consultancy by 9 per cent. Establishments within advertising and market research experienced an increase of 8.8 per cent from the 2nd quarter of 2012 to the 2nd quarter of 2013. Establishments within scientific research and development experienced a decrease in turnover of 4.6 per cent in this period.

Real estate activities up 2.9 per cent

Turnover within real estate activities increased by 2.9 per cent from the 2nd quarter of 2012 to the 2nd quarter of 2013.
