Cost index for road goods transport, Q1.333333333333333333 2008

The fuel index has decreased by 1.4 per cent during the last month. From April 2007 to April 2008 this sub-index grew by 17.7 per cent.

The sub-index for repair and service costs increased by 0.9 per cent from March to April. In the last 12 months this index has increased by 6.2 per cent.

The tire index increased by 0.8 per cent the last month. Over the last 12 months this sub-index grew by 2.2 per cent.

From March to April the index for capital costs increased by 0.6 per cent, mainly due to an increase in real interests rates. Over the last 12 months this index, which is composed by depreciation and amortization, interest costs and annual fees, has increased by 8.3 per cent.

The other sub-indices show no changes over the last month.
