Increase in diesel prices
The total cost index for road goods transport increased by 2.7 per cent from October to November mainly due to higher diesel prices. Over the last 12 months total costs have increased by 6.1 per cent.
The fuel index increased by 10.2 per cent in November. From November 2006 to November 2007 this sub-index has increased by 13.1 per cent.
The sub index for repair and service costs increased by 3.8 per cent from October to November. In the last 12 months this index has increased by 4.6 per cent.
The insurance cost index increased by 0.6 per cent last month. Over the last 12 months this index has increased by 1.2 per cent.
In November the index for capital costs decreased by 1.8 per cent, mainly due to increase in the real interests rates. Over the last 12 months this index, which is composed by depreciation and amortization, interest costs and annual fee, has increased by 7.2 per cent.
The other sub-indices show no changes over the last month.
