Some commodities have figures in both kg (Quantity 1) and gram (Quantity 2). These are commodities that often come in small quantities. Due to rounding and multiple registrations per year, there may be discrepancies between the quantity in kg and the quantity in gram. Quantity 2 (gram) gives the most correct number. Information regarding country codes, in [About the statistics](https://www.ssb.no/en/muh, definitions and heading Country codes used in the historical tables 1866-1987. For the years 1960-1966, figures for Quantity 1 are missing if the SITC group has Quantity 2 other than grams. In this period, only one quantity per item number was registered. For this reason, no quantity figures are given for SITC groups that contain item numbers with different units of quantity. From 1967, such SITC groups will be given in kg. This is to give an indication of the quantity/volume development. A very few SITC groups will also be registered without quantity figures after 1966. Figures for imports and exports 1960 and exports 1961 will differ somewhat from figures previously published in the NOS publications for External Trade. Measured in value, there are no major deviations.
