From 2015 to 2020 inclusive, personal income from disability benefits has been included in pensionable income. Personal income from disability benefits has existed since 2015, when disability benefits from the National Insurance Scheme and other disability benefits were separated from personal income from pensions. This income is not pensionable. As of 2021, the Norwegian Tax Administration's definition of pensionable income is used. The contents of this table are calculated based on taxable residents 17 years and older who have received a tax settlement and for whom Statistics Norway has received tax information.
