    Index of production

    The annual index is calculated as the arithmetic mean of working-day adjusted monthly figures. Working-day adjusted figures are compiled on the basis of unadjusted figures where 2005 equals 100,0. However, the working-day adjusted index number for the base year 2005 will not be exactly 100, 0 due to leap year.
