Annual earnings for the years 2015 and 2016 are no longer comparable. For more information about changes on annual earnings calculations see About the statistics. Due to delays in the implementation of the results of wage negotiations in 2020 some settlements were not paid out until 2021. Payments attributed to 2020 but paid out in 2021 contribute about NOK 1,000 or almost 0.2 per cent to the annual wage growth from 2020 to 2021. Annual earnings statistics include all cash payments in the year they have been paid, and payments are not allocated to the previous year. The contribution in the various industries will vary somewhat.
