Slightly higher estimates for 2007

Estimates for 2007 are slightly higher than recorded in the April survey. New results for 2008 indicate significant growth in total investments.

Total investments in 2007 covering manufacturing, mining and quarrying and electricity supply are expected to come to approximately NOK 42.9 billion, measured in current prices. This is a 28 per cent increase compared with the corresponding figures for 2006, and the estimate is somewhat higher than recorded in the previous survey. Rapid growth in investments within manufacturing and electricity supply explains this result. Estimates for 2008 are significantly higher than the corresponding figures for 2007.
