High estimates for 2006

Estimates for 2006 indicate a higher level of investments than in the previous year. This trend is expected to continue in 2007.

Total investments in 2006 in manufacturing, mining and quarrying and electricity supply are expected to come to approximately NOK 32.7 billion, measured in current prices. This is an 11 per cent increase compared with the corresponding figures for 2005. A high level of investment in manufacturing and electricity supply explains this result. Estimates for 2007 indicate further growth in investments.
