360 000 enterprises in 2002

The number of enterprises amounted to 360 226 in 2002. They had a total of 1 623 064 employees and NOK 2 885 1 billion in turnover. Most enterprises were registered within real estate, renting and business activities. The figures include all enterprises except public administration.

These figures are collected from The Central Register of Establishments and Enterprises at Statistics Norway.
