Large growth for labour recruitment

The local kind-of-activity-units (KAUs) within labour recruitment had a turnover of NOK 9.9 billion in 2005, an increase of 30.7 per cent from 2004 to 2005. The number of persons employed increased by 3 600 persons, an increase of 17,2 per sent. The number of KAUs was 731 in 2005.

The turnover in the KAUs within architectural, engineering and related technical consultancy increased by NOK 7.1 billion to NOK 46.2 billion. This is an increase of 18.2 per sent, while the increase in 2004 was 8.8 per sent. The number of people employed was unchanged. The number KAUs increased by 300 to 9 458.

The Local KAUs within the real estate industry had an increase in turnover of 13.7 per cent to NOK 112.0 billion. The turnover has doubled since the turn of the millennium. The employment rose by 3000 persons, or 14.6 per, to 27 589. The gross investment increased by NOK 17 billion to NOK 27.4 billion

Increased renting activity

The turnover in this division increased for the first time since 2002. The turnover raised from NOK 11.9 billon, an increase of 13.7 per sent. The number of KAUs and persons employed were nearly unchanged.

Local KAUs and enterprises

The structural statistics are published on both enterprise and local KAU level. The figures on the enterprise level may differ from those on local KAU level. This is due to some enterprises being registered in one industry group after main activity, while at the same time consisting of local KAUs in other groups.
