Lower growth within employment activities

Enterprises within real estate activities experienced an increase in turnover of 5.7 per cent from 2012 to 2013, to a total of NOK 35.4 billion.

In comparison, the growth in turnover in 2011 and 2012 was 30.6 per cent and 14.2 per cent respectively. The employment increased by 2.4 per cent, to 51 860 persons.

The section  administration and support service activities had a growth in turnover of 5.2 per cent, to a total of NOK 173.9 billion in 2013. The employment increased by 3.1 per cent, to 131 567 persons.

10 per cent increase within management consultancy activities

The section professional,scientific and technical activties had a total turnover of NOK 230.5 billion in 2013; an increase of 6.9 per cent compared to 2012. Management consultancy experienced the largest growth within this section, with an increase in turnover of 10 per cent, to a total of NOK 19 billion. The employment increased by 5.5 per cent, to 12 800 persons. The enterprises operating within legal and accounting activities had the lowerst growth within this section, with turnover increasing by 4.4 per cent to a total of NOK 36.9 billion in 2013.

Real estate activities up 4.4 per cent

Enterprises within real estate activities had a total turnover of NOK 134.4 billion in 2013; an increase of 4.4 per cent. The number of persons employed increased by 4.3 per cent, to 28 383.
