Preliminary figures

The preliminary figures for structural statistics are only published on enterprise level. In general, the figures for enterprises will show other values than the figures for local kind-of-activity units. This is due to the fact that an enterprise registered with its main activity in one industry may have local kind-of-activity units in other industries. Only figures for the number of enterprises, employees and turnover on a 3-digit industrial level are published. The data have not been as thoroughly revised as they will be for the publishing of the final figures in May 2011.

Deviation between preliminary and final figures

For 2008, the final figures show that the number of enterprises within Business activities and Real estate activities were 0.6 per cent higher compared to the preliminary figures. The final figures for turnover and employment were 1.5 and 1.8 per cent lower respectively compared to the preliminary figures.
