Increase in investments

Seasonally-adjusted figures show that the investments of retail trade industries increased by 7 per cent compared to the previous quarter.

The investments in motor vehicles and other means of transport, and machines and inventory increased by 79 and 16 per cent respectively, while investments in new buildings and renovations decreased by almost 20 per cent.

Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2015, the investments of retail trade industries decreased by about 7 per cent. The investments in motor vehicles and other means of transport had a significant decrease, while new buildings and renovations, and machines and inventory had a moderate decrease.
