Decrease in export price of fresh salmon

In the period April 6th – April 12th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 59.34 per kilo, down 1.2 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 11 992 tonnes in the period April 6th – April 12th. This is 29.3 per cent less than in the previous week, March 30th – April 5th, when exported volume was 16 955 tonnes. Lower volume and higher prices are common during Easter week.

Norway exported 135 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 65.49 per kilo in the period April 6th – April 12th.
