A large increase in export price of fresh salmon

In the period January 18th – January 24th the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 49.81 per kilo, up 7.0 per cent compared to the previous seven-day period.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 19 141 tonnes in the period January 18th – January 24th. This is 2.2 per cent more than in the previous week, January 11th – January 17th, when exported volume was 18 720 tonnes.

Norway exported 262 tonnes of frozen salmon at NOK 49.97 per kilo in the period January 18th – January 24th.
