13 fatalities in May
In May 2013, 13 persons were killed in road traffic accidents, according to preliminary figures. In May 2012, the corresponding figure was 12. The average for May over the last 10 years is 18 fatalities.

Of the fatalities last month, ten were men and three were women. Five were car drivers, three were motorcyclists, four were cyclists and one was a pedestrian.
