Growth in hotel guest nights

The number of guest nights in Norwegian hotels reached 1.36 million in in January 2017. This is an increase of 3 per cent compared with January 2016.

There were 5 per cent more Norwegian guest nights in Norwegian hotels in January 2017. Foreign guest nights went down 2 per cent to 299 000.

Lodging revenue for Norwegian hotels increased by 7 per cent from NOK 844 million in January 2016 to NOK 907 million in January 2017.

The number of guest nights in Norwegian accommodation establishments reached a total of 1.6 million in January 2017. This is a decrease of 3 000 guest nights or 0.2 per cent compared with January 2016.
