7 per cent more hotel guest nights in September

The number of guest nights in Norwegian hotels increased by 7 per cent in September this year compared with September 2015.

There were 9 per cent more foreign guest nights in Norwegian hotels in September 2016. Norwegian guest nights went up 7 per cent to 1.5 million.

Lodging revenue for Norwegian hotels increased by 7 per cent from NOK 1 261 million in September 2015 to NOK 1 344 million in September 2016.

The number of guest nights in Norwegian accommodation establishments reached a total of 2.7 million in September 2016. This is an increase of 6 per cent compared with September 2015.
