Record high summer for Norwegian hotel guest nights

The number of guest nights in Norwegian hotels reached 2.4 million in August 2014. This is an increase of 7 per cent compared with August 2013.

Guest nights for the summer months June, July and August in Norwegian hotels reached a total of 7.2 million in 2014. This is an increase of 354 000, or 5 per cent, compared with the summer months in 2013.

Lodging revenue for Norwegian hotels went up from NOK 1 251 million last August to NOK 1 314 million in August this year.

The total number of guest nights in all types of Norwegian accommodation establishments reached 4 million in August 2014. This is an increase of 7 per cent compared with August 2013.
