Animal husbandry service activities (except veterinary activities), extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas, water transport, private households with employed persons and extra territorial organizations and bodies are not included in the sample survey about self-certified sickness absence. 19 June 2026: A calculation error was discovered in the self-certified sickness absence figures for the publication of the first quarter of 2026. The error has been corrected, and the time series back to 2015 has been rerun. The aggregated figures and the overall trends remain unchanged, but there were some adjustments within the series. The largest changes occurred at the county level. Quite a few counties had some quarters with changes of ±0.1 percentage points. A few had changes of ±0.2 percentage points, and a very small number had changes of ±0.3 or 0.4 percentage points. The county with the largest change was 55 Troms - Romsa - Tromssa.
